My husband was a patient for over 2 weeks. He was very sick and confused. He was having problems with his O2 sats dropping. He frequently complained of not being able to get his breath, and he would ask to sit up or for someone to help him. Kalyn listened and to his pleas and called the critical doctor and told the doctor that we need to do something for him. The doctor did an x-ray and put him on a bi-pap machine, and he was breathing more comfortably. After reading the x-ray, the doctor informed us that my husband's left lung was filled with mucus, and you couldn't see his left lung, and the right lung was half covered. He needed to do a bronchoscope and wash his lung out. They pulled out a mucus plug measuring about 3" long from his lung. He was placed on a vent until the next day when the vent was removed. Since then, my husband has been improving so well. I thank God every day for sending us Kalyn. I feel if she had not listened to my husband's plea then he would not be here today. I feel like Kalyn and the doctor saved my husband's life. I cannot thank either one of them enough.
