Kami was WONDERFUL. She had an exceptionally challenging patient who was suffering from chronic pain and anxiety that was unable to be controlled by multiple visits to multiple specialists in a seemingly hopeless situation. Then came Kami. She took the time to listen to her concerns and focused on the care of the whole patient. She was attentive to her every need and took extra time to sit at her bedside and offer calming reassurance. When she finally left the Emergency Room Kami worked with her to devise a new holistic plan to manage her anxiety and some coping skills that Kami painstakingly demonstrated to her. Kami also found a safe and warm ride back to her skilled nursing facility just in the nick of time before transportation was not available due to the weather and time of day so she could spend the rest of the night comfortably in her own home and familiar surroundings rather than an uncomfortable bed in a busy emergency room. You were her hero and your compassion meant so much to her. THANK YOU KAMI!!!
