Kanetha is an amazing nurse and caregiver. She took excellent care of my Dad while he was very sick. Kanetha also took the time to make sure my mom was updated and informed. Watching Kanetha perform her duties during the toughest situations, she never hesitated and always seemed to be three steps ahead of the issues. Kanetha is definitely on top of the game. You can tell she loves her job and taking care of people. Kanetha absolutely deserves the DAISY Award. She has been a blessing to our whole family.

I am not sure where to start, my 26-year-old son came to USA suffering from a gunshot wound. Once he was in ICU, Kanetha was wonderful! She made my son feel like he was her only patient. Kanetha would keep me and my husband updated on any changes to my son's condition or even if they changed his meds, breathing, really anything and everything.
One night my son had a nightmare and even though I was in the waiting room he did not want Kanetha to come and get me so she stayed with him in his room and completed paperwork. I have never met a nurse like Kanetha to take time to do this. I felt like Kanetha treated my son as if he was her own son. My husband and I would rotate staying at night and in the mornings. Before Kanetha left she would always stop by and let us know if there were any changes and just to let us know that our family was in her thoughts and prayers.
As a mom, I trust Kanetha's opinion and judgment when it came to the medical aspects for my son and also her advice. Kanetha always had encouraging words each day for me and my husband and son. I could keep going on and on about Kanetha but I will end by saying not only is Kanetha a caring loveable person but one of the top-notch nurses I have ever encountered. USAMC should be grateful to have Kanetha on staff.
