I had a number of wonderful nurses who took care of me in the ICU. However, Kara was exceptional. She was everything that a great nurse should be. She was kind, generous, caring and yet firm when necessary and very professional. When they brought me out of the sleep I was in, I was very difficult to deal with and she was extraordinarily patient with me. She had exceptional communication skills in dealing with me in the condition that I was in. She was amazing in her care of me. She met every special request I asked of her and went the extra distance therein.
