Karen Maggio, RN, CCRN

Our 4-year-old daughter has been at BCH quite a few times since birth. We had encountered many dedicated, compassionate nurses for multiple surgeries, procedures, and recoveries. Karen Maggio has been one of the best, with both knowledge and experience, in caring for our daughter's recovery process without us having to make any requests because she has done everything that we can possibly think of. Karen not only took great care of our daughter but also discussed all of our concerns before we even brought them up. These last few days have been very rare moments where no alarms were going off at all. This has been the smoothest recovery process. We truly hope that Karen is recognized as she is a great role model for others to imitate and follow.
