This nurse truly cares about her patients and staff. She goes above and beyond helping anyone even when she is out of the unit, she will make sure visitors, staff if in need of help, have her helping hands. She's always sharing her knowledge with her staff, visitors, and students. She's a phenomenal charge nurse. She is a patient advocate. Always volunteers to help no matter how big or small from helping with deliveries, answering phone calls, inventory, environmental rounds, she does a lot of behind the scenes to ensure work runs smoothly. She always takes initiative and provides solutions. She is a good role model, professional yet friendly. She's an outstanding nurse, positive and hardworking. She is always concerned with everyone's needs and advocates compassionate. She explains things to patients in a very compassionate manner. She takes time to make sure patients and staff are comfortable. She makes time to volunteer and bring food to the unit. She comes in and helps when the unit is in need of staff. She does everything to help the day run smoothly even when busy and always with a positive attitude. We are blessed to have her as a PCC patient advocate. Karla is a DAISY Nurse.
