During my dad’s stay in comfort care and until his death, Kate went above and beyond to ensure not only my dad but all family members who were staying with him were given first-class treatment. Kate knew exactly when to come in and see if my dad was resting comfortably or not and to determine if our family needed anything. Whenever she left the room, she always asked if we needed anything and told us not to hesitate to call or ask. She presented herself in the most professional manner anyone could ask for when she stepped into or out of the room. Our family was very at ease and comfortable knowing Kate was just a call away or just outside the door. Kate also knew when it was about time for my dad to pass from this world to the next, and she - without us knowing - had prepared us for it. Words really can’t describe it, but it happened. Kate was there with a comforting word, hand, shoulder, or huge hug!​
