Katelyn Labrie, RN

Katie quickly became more than just my nurse. She became my friend. Katie showed genuine concern for me and went above and beyond to make sure I was ok. During a painful anaphylaxis episode, she held my hand and stayed by my side so I wasn’t so scared. Katie is funny, has a heart of gold, is very good at what she does, and is probably one of the most down-to-earth people I’ve ever met. She made me feel safe and I felt heard and validated by her. Katie made me feel like I was a priority patient, even though she worked her tail off with many other patients. My needs were always met even though it was a busy night. I felt very lucky that I got to be her patient. She is meant to be a nurse and she makes the nursing staff at this hospital look top-notch! The world definitely needs more Katies.
