I delivered my daughter at Orange Regional. When I came into the hospital, I had no idea how difficult of a labor I was going to have. Kathy was my nurse. She was wonderful. By the time I was in really tough labor, Kathy was talking me through everything helping me get through each contraction. At the point that I started to push, she was encouraging me, letting me know I was doing a great job. I pushed for four hours. Having Kathy there encouraging me and helping was incredible. Although it was the end of Kathy's shift, she didn't leave my side. What an incredible gesture. I ended up having to have a C-section and Kathy didn't leave my side until she knew that my baby and I were ok. Kathy even visited me later when I was in the mother/baby room recovering. I cannot thank her enough for being so amazing during such a difficult time. You've got some incredible staff that is so caring and are genuinely concerned about their patients. Even though I had a very difficult time, I can't stop talking about how Kathy made the experience easier because of her caring and encouraging spirit.
