Katie was incredibly supportive of me and my wife while we attempted the delivery of our son. She talked with us, made us feel like everything would be okay, and generally kept our spirits up. After spending the last 6 hours of her 12-hour shift helping us push, she stuck around until we were moved to the OR. She was about to leave when she found out my wife was going under general anesthesia, at which point she stayed with me to comfort and support me while my wife got her c-section. Even after, Katie stayed to check on my wife, son, and me, again. She stayed 2-3 hours after her 12-hour shift just to support us; we can't thank her enough and we'll never forget her.
