My father was in the ED when his blood pressure dropped. Suddenly Katie appeared without being summoned to assist. It was reassuring to know that although this is a small hospital with nursing staff sometimes stretched in several directions, that the staff backs each other up and remains vigilant by remote technology. Katie responded expediently, professionally and calmly to support the ED nurse. A great team effort here at Sanford Tracy! Katie is a leader, a patient advocate, an excellent communicator and a skilled nurse. She cared for my father as an inpatient, further promoting continuity of care.
