Ms. Allen is a very caring and compassionate nurse. She is a role model. When new nurses come to the unit she takes them under her wings. She explains the process she precepts them and makes them feel welcome. She is appreciated. No matter how busy Ms. Allen is, if there is a problem she takes the time to troubleshoot and resolve the problem. She is a team player. When patients come for a procedure and they voice concerns about being afraid, she explains the procedure, makes them comfortable, and tries to decrease their anxiety. She has great respect for all of her coworkers. She shows great interest in her work. She collaborates with the team and makes sure everyone is on the same page. She is very dependable and knowledgeable. She exhibits patience.
