My daughter had to visit the ED twice in 24 hours for a severe allergic reaction. Both times, we were fortunate to have Kaylee as our nurse. X was so upset she was being admitted to the main hospital because she was supposed to be the “Star of the Week” at school. Kaylee heard all about it and decided to make an award for X -“Star of the ED”. Kaylee and her fellow nurses made a certificate and crafted her a gold star. Kaylee presented X with her award and cheered her on! She is the most thoughtful and caring nurse! X was scared and upset but Kaylee took all of that away for a few moments, which meant the world for X!
