My wife and I could like to nominate Ms. Kellie Nelson. When we arrived at St. Luke's and were both in shock at the whole situation, scared, confused, and high anxiety were in play also. As we sat there waiting to see what was to happen next, in walked Kellie, who immediately reassured us of what the game plan was and was clear and informative about any questions we had. During our stay, Kellie was there for most of them. She made sure that not only me, the patient, was comfortable but my wife was as well. She went above and beyond to ensure we were as at ease as possible. Her knowledge and outgoing personality made us feel like we were royalty. Kellie is definitely one in a million. She made us feel like family and really took the time to teach us about our aftercare and what to expect during recovery. I should like to say also that your whole nursing staff is really phenomenal. God bless all of you at St. Luke's and keep up the great job of saving lives.
