Kelly Kummer, RN

Kelly was a nurse helping and prepping me for induction, labor, and the delivery of my baby. Unfortunately, her shift ended before I delivered. She made my time there prior to the special event very easy. She did so by communicating with me in my language in a way I understood the process during the induction. I am deaf and rely on ASL (American Sign Language). She used sign language to the best of her ability and even applied basic deaf cultural needs: lights on/off, before entering the room, gesturing what was being done, and so on. I was floored by how amazing I felt with her presence and her understanding of what I needed to have an amazing/comfortable experience.
