January 2021 Honoree
Kelsey A Lyons, RN
Kelsey was working Thanksgiving night when I was brought in. Even though it was a holiday, and she was away from her family, she was so kind and tried to keep me comfortable and stress-free. She took the time to talk to me and make me feel at “home” as much as possible. She even washed my clothing so it would be clean when I was discharged. I cannot say enough kind words about her. Even though I was just a patient, they treated me like family or a dear friend. Not being able to have my husband with me due to COVID protocol, was very scary, and they both made me feel that everything would be okay.
Thank you, Kelsey, for your exceptional compassion, advocacy, and dedication to your patients. You truly make a difference.
