Kenda went above and beyond to provide exceptional care. She copied information to send with me explaining terminology and conditions that applied to my diagnosis. She also gave sound advice and encouragement and definitely made me smile. She asked excellent questions which helped me become more self-aware. Then 9 days later I was dismissed from the hospital. I received a sweet postcard saying "Thank You for allowing us to care for you." Kenda wrote a couple of sentences and encouraged me to "Take Care of You" and inserted that I shouldn't share my yellow socks. It was one light moment of laughter that we had shared before I was transported to Lutheran Hospital.
