Kendra Penland, RN

My father was in end-of-life care at CVMC for an extended period of time. Watching Kendra interact with my father was very comforting. She would come in and treat him with compassion and warmth. Her interactions with my father were comforting to him as well as the family present. All of us commented on how amazing Kendra is. I was able to watch how most of the staff treated my dad, and all were commendable, Kendra though, was above and beyond. My daughter is enrolled in nursing school. I pray she is the kind of nurse Kendra is. If I am ever sick and in need of care at your facility, I hope Kendra is my nurse. If I am unlucky and do not have Kendra, I hope they have the Kendra touch!
