Kevin Artiaga, RN

Kevin was nominated by his nurse manager for always providing exemplary behaviors. There was a patient who was admitted for chronic pain management, and the medication was not helping with the pain. When Kevin was provided a new order, and the patient continued to have concerns, he escalated further so that the patient could receive the proper regimen. Through several attempts to get the patient comfortable, he was finally able to work with the correct regimen with the physician for the patients to ensure the patient's comfort. This one way of Kevin advocating for his patient is only among many he has modeled for his patients and colleagues. Thank you, Kevin, for being an extraordinary nurse!
