When my mother arrived at the CCU her nurse was with her every step of the way. She fulfilled all my mother's needs with care and compassion. When we had questions, Kiersten was always willing to answer them to the best of her abilities. She would always ask us if we needed anything and make us feel comfortable. I've seen how she would check up on my mom multiple times during her shift, making sure she was taken care of. Basically, she was treating her as if she was queen, with care and compassion. She has shown us the reason why she is a nurse, to help patients get better. We are very thankful.

My mother came in for surgery and I was worried since any surgery can be abrasive. I drove all night to be here for the surgery. I was grateful for the staff, as they each came to tell us about the outcome of surgery. When she was in recovery, Kiersten knew and was very knowledgeable when I asked her questions. She was patient and had empathy for our family, she went the extra mile to make us feel comfortable. She appeased me when I was questioning the side effects and secondary effects of the medicines and discharge care. Awesome person to be my mom's nurse.
