Kim always treats her patients, their families, and her co-workers with respect. She takes the time to listen to her patients, to interact with them, and to provide excellent follow up to their questions and concerns. Kim is a nurse who is able to develop a special bond with her patients and their families who often express gratitude for the care she provides. She is frequently recognized by her co-workers as someone who is “always there” and doesn’t have to be asked to assist them. She demonstrates excellent clinical skills, is compassionate, and team oriented in her approach to patient care. A1 is fortunate to have Kim on staff!! She is a very deserving recipient of this recognition as MaineGeneral’s very first Daisy Award winner.
