I am P's grandma. My grandson is very medically fragile, at a 6-month level and life expectancy was only 2-years-old. My husband passed away unexpectedly not long after P's 2nd birthday. I have devoted my life to caring for my "Earth Angel Baby" because I wanted to and not because "I had to". A lot of people didn't see that P was my life. Kim really could see and understand my love for P. She would take extra time to explain things. I have never had to understand or deal with all these years of probably a "hundred" plus hospitalizations. She was never irritable but always kind, loving, sweet, caring, patient, understanding, gave a hug whenever needed, smiling, considerate, gentle with P, and talking to him like her was her own. If I couldn't be there, I was so glad and grateful that she was. She is a blessing and I am so glad that she is one of P's nurses.
