Dr. Laughman is a great professor. She is very knowledgeable and always makes learning fun. She usually has a great rhyme to remember the information that is pertinent. She is available anytime we need her and is willing to work with us if we do not understand the information given to us. She takes her time and thoroughly explains everything that we need to understand before we complete the task on our own. Overall Dr. Laughman's past experiences have been very helpful in understanding different approaches to care and continue to help in the field. She is always very encouraging even when we feel mentally exhausted. I know that she has a passion for not only teaching her students, but for caring for patients, and it is obvious when we are on the unit. She encourages each student and if they need her she will be willing and prepared to help wherever she can. She can easily communicate with all the nurses, doctors, and patients without any problems, or uncertainties. I am sure that she is a great team member and I know that many of the students are thankful for her!!
