Kimberlyn's wealth of knowledge is amazing! As her patient be prepared to learn all that she knows about your illness and treatment. Her interest and ability to teach you about what is going on with you medically is a fantastic example of nursing and science meeting to treat patients. Her knowledge should be nurtured to allow her to share this gift of knowledge with all patients, whether it be in a professor role or another. She helped me understand some of the important aspects of my treatment and how each medication played a specific role in my recovery. She explained when and why certain medications were increased or decreased and the effect they had on the big picture. All patients should be afforded this information. It helps to explain your role in your own health and how your participation affects its outcome. I hope Kimberlyn is able to continue her professional pursuits. I will always be grateful for all I learned about myself by being a patient of hers.
