We first met Kinsey on the day of our son's surgery. I barely remember that day, but I remember her kindness and the comfort she made us feel during a very scary day. We quickly asked Kinsey to be our primary RN, and thankfully, she accepted.

She has taken such great care of our son, and always made sure we were okay. She made sure our son was dressed to perfection every day and was ready for our arrival. She made sure we always had a seat to sit in, even if it meant giving up hers. Often times when we came in, she was snuggling our son. Kinsey would leave us notes from our son in his bed so we could see them from the NICU Camera - even watching from home. She made him weekly progress signs and was very creative with his hand and footprints - always leaving extras for us to have.

She was so knowledgeable about our son's condition and has helped us understand why certain things were being done. The day our son coded, Kinsey was not our nurse, but she made sure to be there for us as soon as she could. She held us up so the family could make it to the hospital. She was so calm and comforting during a horrific experience. Kinsey goes the extra mile in everything she does.
