Kirsten joined the pediatric team at Capitol as a very young nurse and jumped right into a very fast-paced, often chaotic environment. She has been a quick learner, works extremely hard, and always has a positive attitude. Her love for our pediatric patients always shines through.

We have a challenging patient who often calls with a lot of worries about her child. She always spends time on the phone, listening and reassuring, never rushing her through. Kirsten has been able to keep this child out of the ER on many occasions just by providing a sympathetic ear. The patient’s mother has told me many times how lovely and kind Kirsten has been. She is always proactive, jumping in to help any member of the team who needs a hand. She is a pleasure to work with.
