I was at Phelps Hospital for a cerebral angiogram. This is the second angiogram that I have ever had. I knew ahead of time that I would have to lay flat for some time after the procedure. Krista was very patient and understanding with me. She went out of her way to get my phone so I could contact my husband who was outside the hospital.

More importantly, she was calming and considerate when I needed to use the bedpan. Her experience and knowledge saved me from any embarrassment or discomfort; who knew that tilting the whole bed would make the whole process that much easier? It seems like a small thing, but it relieved my stress quite a bit. It is the calm, professional demeanor that makes me appreciate all that the nurses do. Every nurse I encountered that day was great, but Krista did the most to calm my anxiety and care for me with no fuss at all.
