Kristen Fresquez, RN, BSN

On the morning of my surgery, Kristen was handling many patients at one time in the PreOp area. She was concise, cordial, professional, authentic, and kind. I could hear her with other patients and was impressed by how she individualized each encounter. She wasn’t automatic; she was truly caring and attentive to each one. I asked her about her tasks and she responded: she loves her job because she starts off in a very busy environment and later in the day is assigned to other responsibilities that vary somewhat from her morning responsibilities which creates interest and anticipation for a full meaningful day. She was a joy with whom I started my day of surgery.
