Recently, Kristen answered a triage call involving a grandfather who was babysitting. He wasn't feeling well and was having chest pains. The home care nurse took his vitals and called Kristen. His blood pressure and heart rate were both high, but he refused to go to the hospital because he was with his granddaughter. Determined, Kristen was able to make him reconsider. It turned out the man was having a massive heart attack. She was pivotal in helping save his life.
