It's hard to list just one act that makes me nominate Kristin Magowan for the DAISY Award. The computers were down throughout the entire hospital and my husband was supposed to be discharged early afternoon. When the computers came back up Kristin was right with us getting his blood results and reassuring us the entire time. Kristin needed iron levels fast so she walked his blood down to the lab and brought back results to us immediately. We were still waiting for the doctors to discharge us and they had not been up. Kristin called the doctor and got him up to the room right away. The entire staff was wonderful but it felt like Kristin took personalized special care of us.
