You know it is going to be a good night when Kristina Anderson is in charge because even if we are full or have something challenging, patients know you are going to have great support. Even when she is not feeling her greatest physically or mentally, she doesn’t stop helping or making sure everyone is okay.
As a nighttime Supervisor of Pediatric/ Pediatric ICU floors, she consistently supports her staff by always being a helping hand in difficult situations, a capable and very knowledgeable Nurse in emergencies, and always having a listening ear.
From the very first night shift as Supervisor, Kristina showed us her work ethic goes above and beyond for everyone the patients, the patients’ families, and the staff. She never backs down.
Kristina exemplifies every quality a leader should have. She is always willing to help out with everything from a sick admission to a routine cate time. She proactively seeks ways to make the shift better for them.
