I was admitted and needed to go home with a wound vac. Unfortunately, we were having insurance issues with the vac I really needed. We tried all the ones insurance would approve but none would work. Kyle then took it upon himself to go above and beyond to make several calls on my behalf to get the vac I needed to be approved. He did not even know me at this point. He made several calls and thanks to him I was able to go home with the vac I needed.
When I was discharged home and started coming to the wound clinic once a week, Kyle was always my nurse. He made the visit positive. He was very encouraging with my progress and would be supportive when things were not going as planned. He always made the visit fun and took my mind off of what was happening. He does a great job in his role in the wound clinic and always made sure the vac was on correctly and that I wouldn't have any issues when I got home. He also educated me on troubleshooting techniques if I had any problems. We are so very lucky to have Kyle at ABMC. Thank you, Kyle, for all you do!
