Kyle was so compassionate and eased all of my fears.
My father was hospitalized for 1 week. We got Kyle on the last 2 days of his stay. We got lucky! Kyle went above and beyond to make my dad comfortable. He was extremely gentle while cleaning his wound and he just exudes compassion. He definitely lifted our spirits. Kyle if you ever read this, God bless you!

Kyle goes out of his way for patients!

He’s a heck of a nurse; he went beyond his duty as a nurse, very compassionate!

Kyle exemplifies what it means to be a nurse. I was admitted with Covid-19 in addition to complications of Autoimmune Hemolytic Anemia and Lupus. Kyle was so compassionate and eased all of my fears. It was very scary having difficulty breathing on top of the other chronic autoimmune illnesses I have been dealing with. Kyle spent extra time with me to make sure I felt comfortable with the plan of care and to make sure to answer any questions I had. I have worked in health care for many years so admittedly, at times, I can be hard on other health care workers, but Kyle goes above and beyond what is necessary and made me feel so comfortable in his care, helping me feel less afraid in a very scary situation.

He educated me every step of the way and was very proactive about treating my symptoms as they arose, many times without me even having to ask for help. He exemplifies what nursing is all about and I would love to see more nurses like him in the workplace. You can tell this is not just a job, but a calling for him. He is an excellent addition to your nursing team. My hospital stay could have gone a lot differently if it weren’t for him being my nurse. Thank you!

My 89-year-old mother was a patient for over three weeks at St. Bernard’s Medical Center. I never knew what to expect when I came into her room. Everything was frightening to me as I watched her struggle with pain. Through it all, Kyle was there making sure she was looked after and helping me understand the things that were going on. He was so patient with my mom. It was important to him that my mom was comfortable. Kyle was always concerned with my needs too. He was always checking to see if I was ok or needed anything. I looked forward each day to talk with Kyle about the day’s events. He cared deeply for my mom and continued to check on her when she moved to ICU and again when she moved to the Step-down floor. Kyle even found some lost family members and helped them find her room even though she was no longer in his care. Kyle’s devotion to my mother's well-being made a huge impression on me. He really stood out as a nurse that truly cares about his patients and is willing to go the extra mile.
