Kylee Alexander, BSN, RN

Our mother recently spent 8 days at Eureka Hospital after being at another hospital for 2 weeks. During her time there we were elated with her improvement. The staff at Eureka Hospital is wonderful, but we were particularly grateful to her nurses. Kylee Alexander went above and beyond her duties and did so much to help and inspire our mother. Kylee was on duty when our mother arrived. Shortly after she was settled, I went up to the floor to take her things from home. Kylee welcomed me and said, “We love J already and are not going to let her go!” Do you know how reassuring it was to hear that on her arrival? Kylee was so attentive to mom and would pop in her room throughout the day to see how she was doing or if she needed anything. She got to know our family and was always so upbeat and positive. I am sure she had a million things to do, but she never appeared rushed or impatient whenever she was with mom. When we had questions she always took her time to explain things and would offer to check on things if she was not sure of an answer. She truly has a passion for nursing. Eureka Hospital has nursing gems and they need to be recognized for their gifts they have and share with their patients.
