The nurses and staff on 2 West were unbelievable through and through. We couldn’t thank them enough for the compassion, consistency and comfort that they brought to our family at a very challenging time. We wanted to highlight Nurse Kyra.

My grandma was admitted into the hospital and would soon need to be put on hospice. Kyra was her nurse most of the days we were there. She felt like a family member in the most professional way. My grandma loved her and felt so safe and comfortable in her care. She spoke to us in terms we would understand, showed compassion and understanding for what we were going through, and always made sure we were clear about what was happening. She was so educated and wise but down to earth at the same time. She is a fantastic nurse, and I don’t know how we would have made it without her.

We got very lucky with the staff on 2 West. Kyra deserves to be recognized for her hard work and true dedication to the job, because for Kyra, you can tell it is so much more than just a job. When my grandma passed we walked out of 2 West knowing that she was in the best hands and I had the most peaceful experience possible. Thanks to Kyra and the staff!
