Lain is a "little shine" full of energy and patient-sensitive. Lain's compassion and empathy made a world of difference to me while I was hospitalized in May 2024 at South San Francisco, California Kaiser Hospital.

I experience the worst side effects from taking the pain medication Dilaudid. I felt very sick and nervous. Nurse Lain explained in detail the "use and side effects" of both Zosyn and Dilaudid in ways I can understand. That put me at ease. In addition, Lain treated everyone like a "friend." 

I think Nurse Lain's commitment to patient care is truly commendable and should be recognized. Thank you for considering nurse Lain Kyu for the DAISY Award.
