Lalitha has cared for my husband on 3 separate occasions during his stay at MossRehab. On all three occasions Lalitha has demonstrated the utmost respect and empathy during all interactions. When entering my spouse's room she acknowledges both my husband and me in a respectful manner. She always has a pleasant smile on her face. She always washes her hands both when entering and leaving. She has excelled in educating us about diabetes and on the signs & symptoms of stroke, and what actions to take. Lalitha always made sure my husband was kept in a safe environment, and that his possessions were close by. She also made sure he was comfortable and without pain. Another thing I would like to commend her on is the proper identification of my husband prior to ever giving him any medications. She not only scanned the ID bracelet but each medication including the insulin. And she did it every time and I was present from early morning until visiting hours closed at 9:00pm. Lalita has got to be the sweetest person that I have ever met. She is very positive and if she can't do something she will find someone who can. If I ever had to chose an occupation again, it would be a nurse just because I have learned from Lalitha how to really care about people. Lalitha is heart-warming. Lalitha should receive this DAISY award.
