A patient on her floor was having to wear a C-collar continuously for several days. The patient was very uncomfortable due to having a full beard and having to wear the C-collar continuously. Larissa bought an electric shaver after work one shift and came in early the next shift to shave the patient. The gratitude expressed for this selfless act was spread throughout the unit. Without fail, Larissa goes above and beyond the duties of the bedside nurse. She is an intricate part of the unit and her talents are greatly appreciated.
