Larysa was nominated by a patient who was at times perceived as having a somewhat demanding nature due to medical issues surrounding uncontrolled pain. While some may write this individual as a difficult patient, Larysa approached her with compassion, understanding, and patience. The patient writes, “She always makes sure I’m good. I can always depend on her. Always on time and on top of my pain. Always has a great attitude. Very caring, doesn’t judge me.” The patient also indicated that Larysa consistently makes special connections, goes above and beyond, and generates enthusiasm and positive energy.
