I was truly blessed to have her as my night nurse. In honesty, I had a pretty rough time that day. Dealing with constant pain and nausea all day left me overwhelmed and exhausted mind, body, and soul by shift change.
I remember thinking it's going to be an interesting night...then I met Tish. Well, true to form, it was. Tish had the best sense of humor. Between my sarcasm and her ability to make any subject matter comical, the night ended up bringing me some peace. Don't get me wrong, tears were shed, but they were much-needed tears only because I couldn't stop laughing.
I can't thank Tish enough for all her help, patience, empathy, and of course her sense of humor. Her ability to put you at ease gives her an awesome bedside manner. It's obvious Tish is a great nurse and I truly hope she is acknowledged accordingly. It's been an honor meeting Tish.
