Latoya is one of the most compassionate and caring nurses I have witnessed. She is extremely thorough in all that she does, from coming in early to carefully reviewing all details regarding her patients to meticulously documenting throughout her shift. Latoya is professional yet has a way of making patients feel as though they are family. She is exceptional with her patient education, always taking her time to explain things in ways that are easily understood.

Latoya is the best preceptor on our unit. She puts her absolute all into ensuring her orientees will have all the tools needed for success. She is patient and understanding, encourages critical thinking, and truly demonstrates the importance of patient safety. Latoya never gives less than 100%. She is the true definition of “every time, every touch.” The healthcare field needs more nurses like her. She is exactly the kind of nurse you would want caring for your own family members.
