This nurse is exceptional! I have spent many more years on the other side of the bed, but when I have been a patient it is easy to see things from a patient's perspective. This nurse was on the night shift and was in my room at least hourly if not more so checking on me and asking if there was anything she could do. She was always straightening up my room. She made sure I was comfortable before she left each time. I was impressed by the way she included me in any of my care. She was kind and compassionate. The most impressive task she performed was at the end of her bedside shift report she tied the large bag of garbage, pulled it out, replaced it with a clean bag, and wished me well as she left. I have not seen the kind of care she gave me that night in nursing in years! She is a DAISY Nurse!
