Laura organized her coworkers to provide a patient's daughter with enough money to attend her prom. The unit made sure she had a dress and a hair and nail appointment for her special night. This young lady and her mom felt loved and beautiful because of this nurse's kind and loving actions.
Laura comes to the gift shop to purchase items for her patients when they are down in the dumps or just received a diagnosis or is upset and frustrated. Recently her patient was having a birthday and she made sure she had a cake and balloons. She is very caring and compassionate.
