I travel to VA because you have the best Ortho team that is familiar with EDS. My case was more complex this time so I was admitted. Laura demonstrated an extreme sense of calm to me when I was experiencing terrible pain. Her calming personality is what I needed. She formulated a plan of care for me which also included diagnosis and pain relief. She always made time to address all of my needs. She was welcoming to my family and polite and professional. I felt like she really cared about my outcome from surgery. She never took the easy way out and always asked if I needed anything, including my mom and dad. She had a great sense of humor which we really enjoyed.  The shifts we had Laura for our nurse were the most enjoyable. Thank you Laura for all that you did for us. You are a great nurse.
