Lauren recently took the initiative to learn the RN charge nurse role to fill that position for the night shift. She is always willing to volunteer for additional shifts and shows interest in learning new tasks. Lauren just completed her first year of service and demonstrates an honorable commitment to both our organization and her patients. Whether she rearranges her schedule to accommodate her unit's or patients' needs or uses her own money and waits all night for the pharmacy to open to purchase fruit snacks for a patient who had been craving them, the bonds she establishes with others are both admirable and appreciated.
