Lawrence provided exemplary care during my serious Illness over the span of six days. He was kind, gentle, timely, compassionate, and competent. He demonstrated efficiency in his organization and preparation before coming into the room and with his responses and helpfulness to other staff members. Lawrence showed poise and patience in his duties and interactions on the telephone and speaking with staff.

Lawrence demonstrated the fruits of the Holy Spirit in all that he did. His faith and love for our Lord are apparent. Lawrence is a humble soul and is respected by the staff. It is rare to find a nurse who demonstrates all of the core values this award requires, but Lawrence was notable to both my husband and me as a “Best of the Best” nurse. I have had several serious extended hospitalizations and have been the recipient of exceptional nursing care. Lawrence is a gift to all he cares for and provides healing through his compassionate and gentle care.
