Leah Knapp, BSN, RN

I came to the emergency room and Leah was my nurse. When she came in to see me, I explained to her that I just lost my mom, and my sister is on hospice care. It was a very emotional time for me, and I am currently experiencing a facial breakout, red, itchy all over, and tooth pain. I explained how I always care for others, but it seems no one cares for me. Leah asked if I needed a hug. I said YES, I do. Leah hugged me, and I was in tears because I needed that hug and felt cared for. It felt so good! Her act of kindness will be remembered forever. She is one of the kindest people I have ever met!
