I was concerned about my patient. His vitals were stable but I wanted a second set of eyes and someone to brainstorm ideas with. Leah came right up when I called. She assessed the Veteran and we discussed his diagnosis and current treatment. She showed me her protocol of options that she could order for patients, but none seemed appropriate. She was so kind, patient, and validated my concerns while easing my mind. I love the teamwork and collaboration with a bright, intelligent nurse.
