I recently had a family member admitted to ICU at TRH. I can’t say enough about the exceptional care he received from the RNs, CNAs, and the doctor. However, there should be extra credit given to Leslie RN. She was the night nurse providing care for several nights. It was a complicated hospitalization. She administered medications efficiently and accurately. Monitored changing vital signs and adjusted meds appropriately. Checked frequently on the patient’s comfort level and safety. Took time out of her shift, several times each night, to update the family. Always asking if there was anything the patient or the family needed or wanted. With COVID restrictions it is difficult for families to step back and trust their loved one’s care to someone else. I felt totally comfortable with the care the patient received which is a huge relief to the family during such a difficult time. Thank you again Leslie for your kind, compassionate care. We are so appreciative!
