Leslie Jones 2023, RN, BSN

When I arrived at Southeast Memorial Hermann, my room was ready and the first nurse to greet me was Leslie. She was very warm, welcoming, and super kind. She remembered caring for me over 17 months ago, reciting the room number I was in, and mentioning my husband being by my side. It was so sweet of her to remember me! Leslie proceeded to go above and beyond to help make me more comfortable because I was truly miserable upon arrival. She offered me a heating pad, ice pack, bed warmer, leg massagers, and a really nice fan. She remained relentlessly patient while trying to get my blood pressure and pain levels under control, and she was extremely attentive! I felt like her only patient. I was sad a little when I woke up and didn’t get to say bye to her. I was later informed that she tried but didn’t want to wake me.
